City Merchant VIP Loft Dining Area. When you want something extra special.
This private secluded area is ideal for small gatherings or business meetings. The VIP Loft Dining area can accommodate up to 16 persons with a minimum of 12 persons, depending on the day requested. 
You can choose from either a set menu or from our extensive a la Carte menu.
The area can be set up with decorations to suit the occasion. Please phone, e-mail or come in for further information.

Conditions of Use of VIP Loft
• Min covers: 12, Max covers: 16.
• No room hire charge.
• Deposit of £15 p.p. required to confirm booking either 4 weeks before booking or asap if short notice.
• PLEASE NOTE: ONCE CONFIRMED WITH DEPOSIT, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN FOR THOSE WHO DON’T SHOW ON THE NIGHT.
• Menus available Sunday – Friday: Corporate Menus B and C, Flavours of Scotland or A La Carte.
• Menus available Saturdays: Flavours of Scotland or A La Carte.
• Last drinks orders at 11.30pm, room to be vacated by 12.15am.
• The VIP Loft is a semi-private room, customers who are booked into the loft for their own private use should not use other areas of the restaurant to gather or meet up with their group.
• We do not allow your own food or drink to be brought into the premises from outside.
...The simple main course of grilled Dover sole showed the kitchen can get the elements of the dish right. The fish was nicely cooked and fresh, and it's melting Cafe de Paris butter, red from paprika dotted with herbs and seasonings lubricated it and made this simple dish delicious.
